Antonio Brogi

Full Professor

Department of Computer Science, University of Pisa. His main research contributions have been first on symbolic artificial intelligence, and then on software engineering, in particular concerning mechanisms to orchestrate software elements in heterogeneous distributed networks.

Jose Garcia-Alonso

Associated Profesor, accredited as Full Professor

University of Extremadura. His work explores how quantum computing can be integrated into software engineering processes, service oriented systems, and large scale applications, with special emphasis on real world scenarios such as personalized healthcare and pharmacogenomics for ageing populations.

Juan Manuel Murillo

Professor of Computer Science

University of Extremadura. He leads the Social and Pervasive Innovation Lab (SPILab), where his research focuses on service-oriented and distributed technologies for mobile systems.

Anila Mjeda

Theoretical physicist turned computer scientist

She leads the Quantum Information Security pillar within MTU’s cybersecurity hub and is currently PI/CoPi on multiple funded research projects, including QCloud (Ireland’s quantum cloud research infrastructure), QuantumEd, Quantum Explore, and Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Research Ireland–co-funded research at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Mohammad Reza Mousavi
