The QSE-PhD School will take place at the āResidencia Universitaria V Centenarioā, a university residence managed by the University of Extremadura. The residence offers conference rooms to hold the lectures, accommodation for the attendees, and other leisure amenities. In general, it is the perfect place to learn and create new connections while enjoying the beautiful nature of Extremadura.
The V Centeniario residence is located in Jarandilla de la Vera. Jarandilla de la Vera is a charming village surrounded by mountains and nature, known for its peaceful atmosphere and authentic local character. Due to its location, it is not possible to reach Jarandilla de la Vera directly. However, we have tried to provide several options to make your trip as easy and comfortable as possible. In any case, if you have any doubts, do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to help you. The organization is working to provide a direct bus from MadridāBarajas Airport to the school venue on Sunday, May 10th, and back on Thursday, May 14th (included in the registration fee). If you are interested in this option, please let us know and we will try to accommodate as many attendees as possible. More information will be available soon. Nevertheless, other options are available as shown below.
